Lake Oswego-based search engine marketing firm Logical Position is opening a second office and it’s heading to the Las Vegas metro area to do it.

The company is planning to open a sales and customer service office in Henderson, Nevada, in mid-February and expects to hire about 30 people initially. The hiring process will get underway this month.

“The Las Vegas area provides us with an ideal meeting place to connect with clients that are located all over the world,” said co-CEO John Ganey in a written statement. “It’s easy to get to, executives are often in and out of the city for conventions, and besides, everyone loves a reason to go to Vegas.”
